Roche Pharma Belux

Art, healthcare and shared values

Around eighty managers from seven countries gathered for a Roche Diagnostics International summit. ARTKOM designed a live participatory art activation with DAFT Creative Production: participants' images were projected onto a canvas, guests were invited to make marks, and the piece grew into a finished, personalised artwork with hand-finished reproductions for the group.

The Context

An international leadership summit needing a shared moment that could hold the scale of the room without becoming a performance for the audience to watch passively.

The Invitation

To create a live artistic experience in which every participant could contribute something visible — held with the production quality a conference of this scale requires.

What ARTKOM Created

A live painting activation developed with DAFT Creative Production. Projected participant imagery gave the group a way in. Nicky worked live on canvas. Guests contributed marks that entered the final piece.

Inside the Process

The activation moved between spectacle and intimacy. Participants approached the canvas one by one and left with the sense that something they had done was now part of the work.

What Became Visible

A single finished, personalised artwork carrying the presence of eighty people. Hand-finished reproductions extended the piece beyond the room, giving participants something to carry back to their sites.
